We’ll be launching a new column in the fall called Mix Tape, essays about books mixed any way you want. Got an itch to write about the five best fiction books featuring Marie Antoinette and/or unicorns, or the five best novels in stories? How about the best books of essays about eating disorders, or books that made your adolescence a little bit bearable? Send us your essays, up to two thousand words on 5-10 books, to our Submittable site. The more unusual (and the rarer books/concepts) and the more personal the essay, the better. In other words, it’s an essay, not a list. We want to add overlooked, unique finds to our library from the people who love to read (and not rely on industry-generated lists). Keep mixing it up!
