Poetry: Play Pretend by Emily Cementina

why
do I
crave
home
remembering
it
like some
oasis

not sure
it ever was

though
yes
sunlight

afternoons
with
floral dresses

the
whole yard

my kingdom

I
do
recall
greenery
a prick
turned
to softness

how
a rock
could cool you

this
alone
made me

majestic
